A very professional company, great drivers, beautiful vehicles!! My sister and I were planning a visit to Big Sky, MT and decided to take a day trip to Yellowstone. After reading all of their five-star reviews on Trip Advisor, we booked a one-day tour with Discovery Yellowstone Tours on July 24, 2017. From the moment we booked our tour to the point we were dropped off, I was impressed by their knowledge and professionalism. I'm not usually a "tour" person so to be able to book a private tour with our own personal tour guide in an extremely comfortable vehicle was exactly what we wanted. Our guide asked all the right questions before plotting a course for the day, knowing exactly where to take us to fulfill our "must do" list and seemingly knew exactly where to go to see the most wildlife. We saw what appeared to be thousands of bison, along with a mean one that came inches from the car. My favorite part was the Grand Prismatic Spring, don't miss it!!! It was an excellent day and Bruce was a 5 Star guy. We saw 5 Black Bear, 1 Grizzly. 2 coyote, hundreds of bison, dozens of elk and antelope, and deer. Breakfast and lunch were great, and the day was gorgeous. You will be recommended to all we know, and we decided to make this a yearly trip. Annual company outing in Bozeman and we called Tracie to arrange a one day Yellowstone tour for 17 people. She organized two vehicles and I spoke to Virgil, the lead driver two days prior to suggest an itinerary. Bruce and Virgil arrived at our hotel on time, very friendly and supportive. Excellent drivers/guides, gave us plenty of information on the park, the drive, and wildlife. We toured the upper loop and a few extras, returning to the hotel 10 hour later. Wow! What a full day and plenty of things to see. Several in the group were first timers to YNP and they really enjoyed it. Personally, I've been there several times before, but Virgil took us to a few places I never Knew of that were interesting. We were extremely glad he went that "extra mile". We all loved our trip to Yellowstone. Virgil was great!  He was very interesting and very funny.  Mark and I were in the car with him.  I also talked to the folks that were in Bruce's car and they said he was fantastic.  We stayed busy but especially liked that the guides knew where all the best and cleanest restrooms were.  The only time we had a small amount of rain was at Old Faithful but most of us sat upstairs at the hotel and watched from there.  My favorite part was the lower falls.  The view was breathtaking and I got tons of nice pictures.  We also saw a ton of buffalo and elk.  I can't think of anything we could of done that would of made our day any better.  The lunch was over the top!  The majority of us could only eat half of our sandwich so we had leftovers for supper. I would book another trip with Big Sky Shuttle in a heartbeat.  Tracie was the best.  Not only did she book us a fabulous trip but she shared her knowledge of Big Sky, Montana with us and we took many of her suggestions of places to go and restaurants to enjoy. From start to finish everything was great about our tour of Yellowstone. First, the owner of the company took the time to answer all my questions. She helped me customize our tour. But the real star of the show (besides the park of course) was our guide Virgil. He treated us like we were family. In fact, after a fabulous tour he took us to see earthquake lake and then to a very special third stop-one which my wife and I will never forget. Tracie, you should be commended for hiring Virgil. We booked an upper loop Yellowstone tour with Big Sky Shuttle at the last-minute due to an accident we endured in our RV, which resulted in our arrival to Big Sky being delayed, and subsequently hampering our previously made plans. Tracie was more than accommodating, and gave us a choice of two of the next three days, even on such short notice. The experience turned out to truly be a blessing in disguise, as I could relax over the hour and fifteen-minute drive down and back from Big Sky to Yellowstone, and we didn't have to worry about finding a place to eat, as a great lunch was included as well. The vehicle we traveled in was a brand new 2016 Yukon Denali, which very comfortable. Our driver, Virgil, was extremely knowledgeable and truly enjoyed showing the park to us, despite his numerous trips there before. He even kept my younger children (ages 8 and 10) interested for most of the day, which is quite a feat given the long day and their rather short attention spans. We saw many wildlife up close including buffalo and elk, some of which were literally right next to us to the point where you could reach out and touch them (but this is not recommended). I know for a fact that I wouldn't have been able to see as much or find the wildlife we did without Virgil as our guide. The tour was overall a fantastic experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone interested in seeing the best of Yellowstone, even if only for a day.

On behalf of our family,  Harold and I would like to thank you for a most wonderful day at Yellowstone.  You very efficiently carted us around to where we were able to see ALL the highlights of this fantastic park (arriving at Old Faithful just before its awesome display!!).  Much better than us bumbling along in our separate vehicles (& much less stressful). We very much appreciated the depth of your knowledge of the park (& the interesting stories you both had). Having two great drivers also allowed us to rotate and visit with each other (much appreciated considering we are spread out in Regina, Denver and Alberta). And the gourmet lunch was marvelous!!! My sister's and my tour with Tracie and Discovery Yellowstone Tours in July was fantastic. She knows the area like the back of her hand, and all the great places to go. I loved seeing the beautiful vistas of Big Sky Country and the surrounding area, particularly the Grand Prismatic Spring, the flower-covered hillsides, and famous Yellowstone sites.
